Do we really only pay
for enquiries we receive?
Yes. TextAgent! responds to
the 'keyword' & 'unique' property reference code
displayed on your board. A reply is sent to the person
whilst at the board - it takes just a few seconds. This
response or 'lead' costs you, the agent just 10 pence
(we give you 250 message credits). The interested party
pays their standard network SMS rate. The agent just
pays for the enquiries they receive.

How do we pay for the
messages that we have sent?
As part of the registration process you are provided
with 250 message credits. You elect how to pay when
these are used up. Your choices are: by account payment
such as BACS, Cheque or Direct Debit. An automated Credit
Card facility will shortly be available on this web
site. You receive email notification when your credits
reach less than 100. When payment is received, we top
up your credits.

How do we renew?
Your investment is for 12 months (...6 months
if renting). What happens in month 13? At the end of
month 11 you will be sent an invoice for the following
12 month's service. Upon acceptance & payment received
by us you then retain ownership of your dedicated reply
number & the TextAgent! service.

Do I need to be technical to
use the service?
Absolutely not. Everything about TextAgent!
has been designed to be simple & easy
to use. We provide user guides & free email support.

Are there online reports to keep
an eye on how the service is performing?
Yes there are. Within the user panel you can review
the usage & success of the service. As with any
marketing activity it is fundamental you measure the
results.

Do you input our property details
for us?
No. We provide the training collateral for you to do
this. We demonstrate how simple it is to do this then
it is your responsibility to manage your boards.

be integrated into our database?
Yes. Many existing databases, CRM & web applications
can easily be integrated with TextAgent!

We like the idea of
using TextAgent! slips. What are they like?
All our signage is provided by Signworld, one the UK's
leading board designers & manufacturers. Our bespoke
board is only available with TextAgent!
Additional slips can be purchased at any time. Slips
are made from correx.
Can the slips be re-used?
Yes. The slips are durable. They last as long as the
typical board does. Each slip has its own unique property
code. When the property is sold or let, you can re-assign
each slip/code for the next property accordingly. Depending
on how many properties that are on your books &
your turnover rate, purchasing 100 slips may well last
you the entire year.

How many unique property
reference numbers can I have?
As many as you need.

Can you provide premium
rate SMS numbers?
Yes it is possible to provide these. Yes we can facilitate
a revenue share on these numbers. However, we
do not recommend charging house hunters for
freely available property information.

Can you provide short
code SMS numbers?
Yes we can. We have access to the familiar TV &
radio 5/6-digits SMS codes. These are either shared

Can I send outbound
messages? To more than one recipient?
Yes. You can send a message to any number of recipients
simultaneously, without having to type the message in
each time. It's unlimited. We provide you with our outbound
SMS module free of charge.

Can I brand my messages?
Yes - all messages can be branded with your company
name or they can be personalised (max 11 characters).
Remember all content sent containing web, email &
telephones numbers can be used by the recipient as a
‘Call to Action' for your agency.

Can I send international messages?
Yes. We have a global GSM reach to networks in more
than 120 countries - almost anywhere in the world.

Do you have online help?
Yes. There are user guides to help organisations &
users answer most types of questions. Once in the application
there is a help button, you can email us should you

numbers for marketing purposes?
No we do not. We conform to the stringent regulations
of the Data Protection Act. Your user & contact
details are confidential to you.

When will TextAgent!
provide us with pictures?
Multimedia messaging is the next generation message
service. Multimedia messaging allows a variety of message
elements to be sent to a user & these can contain
text, animations, photographs, sounds, etc. Users can
receive rich content messages from content providers
& forward them onto their own contacts. During 2006
we plan to provide you with the option of also posting
property details to mobile handsets using pictures.
Currently we believe that SMS/text is more cost effective
for both the agent & enquirer. SMS is also simpler
to administer by the respective agent & can reach
a far wider audience.

We currently have web,
telephone & email. So why include SMS to our boards?
When boards first started displaying a web address this
was leading edge! However, many still preferred to stick
with a just telephone number being displayed on their
board. At best a BT answer phone was there to receive
out of hours messages.
We now ask, "why take the risk of losing potential
custom whilst standing at your board/property?"
No longer do you have to rely on people leaving your
board & finding you on the web. Your office
number is now on their mobile phone - they won't forget
